ATHLETE CODE OF CONDUCT
BEHAVIOR
- Show respect for coaches, teammates, other EXA athletes, parents, judges, officials, and spectators. Disrespectful behavior will result in dismissal.
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship before, during, and after competitions.
- Show respect for coaches and athletes from opposing teams.
- Abstain from using drugs, tobacco, alcohol and abusive language. This behavior will result in dismissal from the program.
PRACTICE
- During practice all squad and routine decisions are left to the discretion of the coaches.
- Practices may be changed, added, or removed at any time during the season with proper notice.
- BA schedule is the athletes FIRST priority. BA will not work around an athletes high school sports schedule (soccer, high school cheer, etc.)
- bsences for these events will be unexcused. (Exceptions will be handled on an individual basis)
- Respect the privilege of the use of our facility
- No food, gum, candy or soft drinks are permitted in the gym area.
- No outside street shoes are to be worn on the practice floor.
- Assigned practice attire will be worn to all team practices. You may wear other practice wear to tumbling classes, open gym, etc. Do not practice or tumble in loose fitting t shirts or sweatpants, this can be a safety hazard to instructors and yourself during spotting.
- You are required to bring a full water bottle labeled with your name to the gym for practices and classes.
COMPETITION
- It is likely to lose or add team members throughout the season. The dismissal or addition of a team member is solely the coach/ gym owner’s decision.
- You are required to attend all competitions. Missing a competition may result in dismissal.
- Travel events are for athletes, staff & family only. No boyfriends are to accompany athletes to overnight events.
SOCIAL MEDIA
- No athlete or parent may post inappropriate/negative messages or images on social media about Beyond All Stars or another program.
- No BA videos containing routine/choreography footage are to be posted on the internet without permission.
